Sleep deprivation be damned, I dragged my not-quite-dead body out of the  mangled cocoon that was my bed sheets this morning to run. I’m really wanting to get CrossFit out of the way in the mornings, and run in the evenings. I flip-flopped it today since I didn’t wake up early enough for the 6am class, and will go this evening.
But, 3 miles were had and everything was beautiful and only a few things hurt. One of the best/worst things of supplementing running with CrossFit (or vice versa) is that you get used to running on tired legs, which will come in handy whenever I return to racing*.
Don’t let this beautiful picture fool you - the air was so thick you could bite it. TN humidity, please leave. Bring on the fall. My body is ready.
