Flashback Friday.

ALL THE LOL’ING.

As a rather hefty teenager, and obviously overweight, I never thought it was that bad. I never took pictures, wanted to be in pictures, so I never really saw myself as overweight. I hid behind jackets (joke’s on me, jackets don’t hide a thing) and always put myself in the back of the pack.

The first step of weight loss is acknowledging your starting point. Realizing there is, in fact, a problem, and slowly chipping away from there. Losing weight is an incredible journey. I learned much more about myself than I ever thought I would. I learned to see and appreciate myself in a different light. And now, I see an uncomfortable, complacent girl on the left, and a happy, healthy girl on the right.

This is one journey that I’ve never regretted.
